Paragon Windows & Doors ("Paragon", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
When you request a quote, we collect the information you enter in the form:
- your name, phone number, and email address;
- your street address and city;
- the products you are interested in; and
- any project details you choose to share.
When the form is submitted we also record the date and time, the page it was sent from, your browser type, and a one-way coded (hashed) version of your IP address. We use these only to prevent spam and abuse of the form; the coded value cannot be used to see your actual IP address.
To keep automated spam out of the form, the page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to confirm a person is submitting it.
This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- to respond to your request and contact you about your project;
- to schedule a consultation, take measurements, and prepare a quote; and
- to protect the website and form from spam and misuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.
Consent
By submitting the quote form, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. If you do, we may not be able to continue helping with your project.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores quote requests, protects the form from spam, and delivers the notification we receive when you submit the form.
- Google Workspace provides our business email, so messages between us are handled by Google.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site. When the page loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser information.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above and for reasonable business and legal record-keeping. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access restricted to the people who need it to respond to you, and reputable service providers.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
